Rubee’s Closet presents the vision of owner Beverly Alonzo – professional photographer and life-long lover of fashion. Beverly, at heart a serious shopper, sensed the need for a fashion boutique that she always hoped to find, but never did – a fun, laid back and comfortable environment for women in search of affordable, hip and on-trend clothing. This focus has been the driving force behind the creation and operation of Rubee’s Closet.
Beverly first started selling clothes out of her Hoboken apartment in 2004. Word spread and the business quickly grew. Rubee’s Closet soon moved into its current location in a loft space at the Monroe Art Center located on Monroe Street in Hoboken.
A singularly eclectic shopping experience, Rubee’s Closet touches upon a variety of styles and statements.
